ORION Victron SMART • 12/12V-50A

Orion XS 12/12-50 A is a 50 A DC-DC voltage booster designed for dual-battery systems.
Used to charge the service battery from an alternator, ensuring precise and controlled charging.

• Smart alternator compatibility: Detects if the engine is running and only activates the charger when the alternator is supplying power. In this way, it only draws energy when needed.
• 4-stage charging algorithm: During small discharges, the absorption time is short to avoid overcharging. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is extended to fully charge the battery.
• Protections: Orion XS offers protections against overcharge, short circuit and excessive temperatures. It switches off automatically in the event of low temperatures or too low an input voltage.
• Remote On/Off: Can be switched on and off remotely via a switch or battery management system.
• Connectivity: The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth by downloading the VicrtonConnect app, or via wired remote control (optional).
• Parallel connection: Multiple Orion XS units can be connected in parallel to increase output current.
